On August 8, 2026, we gathered at Fiorella’s Event Space for the second annual SHINE Legacy Awards, bringing together friends, family, supporters, and changemakers for an evening filled with joy, connection, and plenty of sparkle.

Together, we celebrated leaders making a difference in STEM Education, Maternal Health, Wellness, and Joy, and honored Uzazi Village with the Krystal Anderson STAR Award for their extraordinary commitment to improving maternal and infant health in our community.

Throughout the evening, we were reminded that Krystal’s legacy is not simply something we remember. It is something we carry forward through service, advocacy, opportunity, and the joy we create for others.

From celebrating this year’s honorees to raising support for the work ahead, the evening reflected what SHINE With Joy is all about: bringing people together to create positive change while never forgetting to make room for joy along the way.
